I’m honored that my recent painting, “Morning Light”, has been accepted into the North American Watercolor Society (NAW) International Online Exhibition starting in August 2026!

Local artist, Rick Osann, has been selected for the 2026 North American Watercolor International Exhibition, an international juried exhibition recognizing outstanding achievement in watercolor painting. The exhibition attracted more than 700 entries from accomplished watercolor artists globally. After a highly competitive jury process, Osann was selected for inclusion, making acceptance a notable professional distinction. Rick’s accepted work, “Morning Light”, will be featured alongside an exceptional collection of contemporary watercolor paintings representing a wide range of artistic styles and voices. Founded to celebrate excellence in watercolor, North American Watercolor (NAW) is dedicated to recognizing exceptional artists while advancing the appreciation of watercolor through exhibitions, education, and community.

The 2026 North American Watercolor International Exhibition will be presented online, making the exhibition accessible to collectors, artists, and art enthusiasts around the world. For more information about the exhibition, visit: www.northamericanwatercolor.com

Congratulations Rick! The atmosphere in your painting is exceptional! I purchased one of your Acadia paintings while on vacation in Maine several years ago and I enjoy it every day.
Congratulations, Rick! I love your work and have one of your paintings hanging in my living room in Arizona. It’s on my “Maine” wall along with other pieces by other Maine artists. Your art takes me home.
Hi Janet,
Thank you! I love that you have a Maine wall at home! Wishing you a wonderful summer and hope to see you back here soon!
