Come have a fun-filled afternoon at Artwaves in Town Hill, ME, Saturday afternoon from 1:30 to 4:30 pm. Artwaves will have food, music, a bonfire, a variety of crafts stations and an exhibit of work by local artists. Introduce yourself to the new leadership of Artwaves and learn about its new name, Acadia Arts Center! I will be doing a live painting demo and the painting will be offered by raffle to a lucky Artwaves supporter. Hope to see you there!
Rick Osann has been painting in watercolor since the early 1970's. After various careers as a professional Scenic Artist working for stage, film & TV in New York City, and teaching art/theatre/film at Bonny Eagle High School in southern Maine, Rick is now happily focusing on his painting in Bar Harbor, Maine, one of the beautiful places of our world, in his studio adjacent to Acadia National Park. Rick is most interested in exploring light, shadow and color in nature through his painting. His work celebrates the beauty of the Maine landscape, on its own or in combination with elements of man's built environment.
