Its the Holiday Season!

Rick Osann Art supports many local non-profits with the donation of paintings for silent auctions, including this past year Friends of Acadia, Camp Beech Cliff, MDI Nursing Association, Maine Oceanarium, and Maine Needs in Portland. With all the uncertainty out there, this holiday season Rick Osann Art will donate 10% of the price of any sale from now until the end of the year to the Good Shepherd Food Bank supporting food pantries all across the state of Maine.

Due to increases in the prices of materials and so forth, prices for Rick’s paintings will be increasing. We’ll hold the old pricing structure through the end of the year. Now’s the time to choose a painting (including new works) at the old price!

We wish you all the happiest holiday season and thank you for your support over the past year. Happy Holidays!

Rick Osann has been painting in watercolor since the early 1970's. After various careers as a professional Scenic Artist working for stage, film & TV in New York City, and teaching art/theatre/film at Bonny Eagle High School in southern Maine, Rick is now happily focusing on his painting in Bar Harbor, Maine, one of the beautiful places of our world, in his studio adjacent to Acadia National Park. Rick is most interested in exploring light, shadow and color in nature through his painting. His work celebrates the beauty of the Maine landscape, on its own or in combination with elements of man's built environment. Please contact Rick with any questions or interest in commissioning a painting of your favorite landscape or pets.

  1. Sorry we didn’t get together this summer with your busy schedule! But we definitely want our painting that I commissioned, so please don’t sell it.

    1. Hi Tammy,
I have the Asticou painting finished and framed. I’m attaching an invoice link for payment, assuming I’ll hold the painting for you until you return in the spring (which means I’m required to charge sales tax). If you’d like me to ship it to Florida, the cost is $45 instead of the sales tax amount of $26.13. Please let me know if you receive the link and photo. I’m a bit unfamiliar with the process within the website.

I will be increasing prices at the beginning of the year. If you’d like to pay the original amount of $475, please submit payment through the invoice link before the end of the year. If you have any questions, please contact me.
