Coastal Fine Arts Alliance of Maine at the Southwest Harbor Village Green
I have some new pieces to display this weekend with the other juried CFAAM artists on the beautiful Village Green in Southwest Harbor. CFAAM includes a quality group of artists working in a wide variety of media who are selected to participate in the show by a jury of their peers. I hope to see you there!
Next up will be the Bar Harbor Fine Arts Festival, Sept. 5, 6 & 7, at the Bar Harbor waterfront. I’ll be the first booth next to Main St!
Rick Osann has been painting in watercolor since the early 1970's. After various careers as a professional Scenic Artist working for stage, film & TV in New York City, and teaching art/theatre/film at Bonny Eagle High School in southern Maine, Rick is now happily focusing on his painting in Bar Harbor, Maine, one of the beautiful places of our world, in his studio adjacent to Acadia National Park.
Rick is most interested in exploring light, shadow and color in nature through his painting. His work celebrates the beauty of the Maine landscape, on its own or in combination with elements of man's built environment.
